This page explains the terms that apply when you use this website, buy from SIPS Online, apply for trade pricing, or ask us to contact you. It also explains how we handle personal information and cookies.
Terms and conditions
1. About SIPS Online
SIPS Online provides this service. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SIPS Online, and “you” means the customer, visitor, account holder or trade applicant using this site.
You can contact us through the contact page. If your enquiry relates to an order, cancellation, return, privacy request or trade account application, please include enough detail for us to identify the relevant account or order.
2. Website use
You may use this website to browse products, configure SIP panel options, place orders, manage your account and apply for trade pricing. You must not misuse the website, attempt to access restricted systems, submit false details, or use the site in a way that could damage the service or other users.
3. Products, measurements and specifications
Our products include SIP panels, related kits and finishing products for outbuilding projects. Product images, drawings and descriptions are provided to help you understand the product, but small variations in colour, texture, finish and appearance may occur.
Where you enter measurements, panel dimensions, thickness, core type or project requirements, you are responsible for checking that the information is accurate and suitable for your project before placing the order. SIP panels and any cut-to-size or made-to-measure goods may be manufactured or prepared specifically for your order.
Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, you are responsible for checking structural suitability, planning requirements, building regulations, site conditions and installation method. We can provide general product guidance, but this does not replace professional design, engineering or building advice where your project requires it.
4. Orders and order acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods in your basket. We will confirm receipt of your order by email, but the order is only accepted when we confirm that it has been accepted or moved into preparation.
We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment is not authorised, we cannot meet the requested specification, or we reasonably believe the order has been placed fraudulently or incorrectly.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. VAT treatment will be shown at checkout where applicable. We may update prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted unless there has been an obvious error.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe and any enabled payment methods, which may include card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna. We do not store full card details by us.
6. Delivery and collection
Available delivery and collection options are shown at checkout. We will contact you when your order is ready to collect or dispatch and may ask you to provide your order confirmation and proof of identity where relevant.
You are responsible for arranging a suitable vehicle, loading method and safe transport from the collection point. Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are collected by you or your nominated collector.
7. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
If you are a consumer, you may have cancellation rights for standard, non-custom goods bought online. However, goods that are made to your specification, cut to your measurements, personalised, or otherwise clearly customised may not be cancellable once preparation, cutting or manufacture has started, unless they are faulty or not as described.
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm whether the order can still be cancelled based on its status and whether any custom work has begun.
If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or not fit for their usual purpose, please contact us promptly with your order number, photographs and a description of the issue. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Trade accounts and discounts
Trade pricing is available only to approved account holders. Applying for a trade account does not guarantee approval. If approved, your discount will be connected to your customer account and applied where eligible at checkout.
We may change, suspend or remove trade pricing where account information is inaccurate, the account is inactive, payment issues occur, the discount has been misused, or we reasonably need to update our trade terms. Trade discounts do not apply retrospectively unless we agree this in writing.
9. Account security
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place through your account. Please tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
10. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect measurements or specifications supplied by you, unsuitable installation, failure to follow product guidance, site conditions outside our control, or use of products for purposes they were not intended for.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page applies when you use the website or place an order, unless we agree different written terms with you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where consumer protection laws in another part of the UK give you additional rights that cannot be excluded.
Privacy policy

We use personal information to:
- provide the website, accounts, basket, checkout and customer support;

4. Lawful basis for using your information
We rely on different lawful bases depending on how we use the information:
- Contract: to create accounts, process orders, take payment, arrange collection and provide customer support.

5. Who we share information with
We only share personal information where needed to run the service and business. This may include site hosting and support providers, payment providers such as Stripe and enabled payment methods, accounting and professional advisers, email or customer support providers, analytics or cookie tools where enabled, and authorities where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where this happens, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used, such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms or equivalent protections.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed. Order, payment and accounting records are usually kept for up to six years after the end of the relevant tax year. Account details are kept while your account remains open. Trade applications may be kept for as long as needed to manage the request, approval and discount history. Enquiries are usually kept for up to 24 months unless they become part of an order or legal record.
8. Your rights
Depending on the situation, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, so please contact us before making a complaint if you can.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should also keep your account password safe and avoid sharing login details.
